Grave and graveyard are blatantly different, snow and snowshoe are blatantly different, GPU and graphics card was questionable but understandable

They perform different functions. The GPU processes the image and the graphics card puts them on screen.

in previous word matches it’s generally been allowed to submit multiple words if they’re part of, like, an established phrase
so like if the words were “president” “residence” “washington” you could submit “White House,” but not “Biden’s house in DC”

i know they’re actually different things but 95% of the time people say GPU they just mean graphics card lol
at least in my experience
with regards to decisions Arctic was the hard it must have the exact spelling if I even see a letter missing that’s bad, I was the “this is painful for me I’m not going to think harder than a second on whether this should be allowed” while otter was the eh close enough
looking back ambien shouldn’t have matched but I thought about it for one second thought thinking was too difficult and asked otter
