There’s no way I’ll be able to wolfread anyone meaningfully right now. All I can do is point out a specific player looks off and see who else is seeing the same (or the opposite).
I guess it depends what books I can find on the story.
I just started reading the first book of Wings of Fire on Internet Archive. The only issue is that I hate reading through a computer.

At least the paragraphs are short and the letter font is big so I don’t have to worry about squinting my eyes and trying to not lose track.
I’d much rather talk about random stuff during a mafia game than some loose thread. Just like I’d rather chat with real life friends while doing college work than just chatting for the sake of chatting.
At least I got an excuse to continue talking.

I’m not a fan of the usual alternative (where everyone exaggerates their reads and pretends to be incredibly confident even though it’s SOD1 and there’s not much to go off of)

True but also I just think it’s polite to clearly express lack of certainty when you aren’t certain. Circles of forum mafia players that don’t do that, things are more likely to get heated up if players are reactionary and feel entitled to being townread as town, ime. Trying to keep it calm
