i personally just like having physical cartridges. they mak eme happy to have, and i like the collection im able to have. like im gonna be PISSED if rhythm heaven groove doesn’t have at least one physical cartridge, bc it was my goal to own every rhythm heaven game someday

i feel u, i have physical for every system I own except PC and Switch 1 and I have a pretty decent collection of blu-rays for stuff I like

but I’m afraid the actual practical benefits of owning a physical game for a portable console are basically zero at this point and so I wouldn’t be surprised to see fewer and fewer

at least with a blu-ray you’re not only getting the actual movie, but also in much better quality than any modern streaming service can provide

so like it still has genuine purpose

but hey i got fever and rhythm heaven ds already (my parents bought me a sealed copy for some reason??? i didn’t ask for that, and then i felt extremely bad opening it bc i wanted to play the game :joy_wolf:)

megamix or tengoku i could prob both leave sealed which would make me happy

carrying around game cards you can lose kinda sucks when your console can literally fit in your pocket

I am STILL not over losing my copies of FireRed, Spore Creatures, and Diamond at different points throughout my life
