all he knows is linkedin
It’s fine.
It’ll probably tell her that I viewed her profile.
Equivalent exchange or something.
This is an extremely Ash thing and an extremely Marissa thing to happen in cookie thread like this is the thing that would naturally happen when Ash and Marissa are combined & allowed to react
what kind of skill is “dynamic learning”. which CEO wants to hire someone who has dynamic learning as opposed to normal learning. they just like more pompous sounding words?

the US is the land on the free and yet im not allowed to say slur on my queer forum without reprecussion humor me this atheists
I mean, you can say the slur.
Doesn’t mean you won’t get punished for it.
does free speech just mean that the government can’t punish you for saying things? if so the US is by far not the only country with free speech wth. thats pretty common
It basically means that you can criticize the government without fear of retaliation, which was a pretty big deal for its time.
i see. for its time - revolutionary. so people were proud of it. but i see today some ppl say the us is the most free country or land of the free. and thats a pretty common right nowadays. apart from that what other things does the us have that sets it apart as more free?
I think just general laxness in terms of policy? Central belief of a lot of policies is about “leaving Americans and businesses alone”.
This is not always a good thing (you can summon Nbowie for the short version of the long version), and it definitely is more an espoused value than an enacted value, but it’s been a defining tenet of US identity.
espoused … enacted … linkedin? i dont understand
so basically … no regulation to dump poo poo in river?
the 1st amendment has a lot of freedoms, some of which are more broadly enforced than others.
in theory we have freedom of religion and freedom of the press but we’re teetering towards christian ethnostate and unnecessary censorship.
on top of those and speech, it also guarantees freedom of assembly and freedom of petition. doesn’t guarantee that either of those will actually accomplish anything though
we also have the third amendment which prevents people from being forced to quarter soldiers. god bless america
if there’s one amendment whose tenets we have never abandoned i can guarantee to you it’s the third amendment
oh wow i never knew that. i thought by default every american must be a catholic or something like that. and non-christians being given the side eye
for one america’s way more protestant than catholic. historically it’s catholics who’ve been given the side eye, it took jfk for one to become president and look how that ended up for him.
but yeah defacto nonchristians are side-eyed but legally the government can’t stop people from worshipping whatever religion they want
oh protestant. ur right i heard that. i still dont know the difference between catholic and protestand. and puritan. so many words
