Sparknotes version is that the Piltover/Zaun conflict is completely thrown out after Act I - Zaun’s presence and response to Piltover, shown through Silco in S1, disappears entirely while Piltover’s political scheming and corruption gets thrown out in favor of Mel being kidnapped the entire season and returning with magical powers to fight in the finale - several factions (namely the Firelights and the Black Rose) get very little exploration, and I have qualms about how they handled Caitlyn, Vi, and especially Jinx.

Remind me to do a full writeup on this once my finals are done.
