Apparently I also have the potential to go 100% Dutch. Which makes no sense to me because of the stupid way “normal Dutch citizens” pronounce ‘u’, but okay.
(In Dutch, all ‘u’ are pronounced as ‘ü’; like the ‘ue’ in ‘blue’. So every damn time a “normal Dutch” attempts to say ‘but’, what I hear is ‘büt’. Honestly, fuck the Dutch pronounciation.)

my personal conspiracy theory is there are in fact people who can react in under 10 ms . I think olympic false start rules come from the idea that its simply impossible are STUPID why do we even TIME from a GUN GOING OFF STILL cant we like USE COMPUTERS to find EXACTLY WHEN THEY LEFT AND TIME IT THAT WAY?? commitees behind most sports prioritise viewer retention over all else. Our sporting technology has improved rapidly over the last 40 years but because it gives such a boost over the prior athletes they refuse or at best drip feed it to keep a sense of familiarity. If they really cared they would, like the TRUE GREEK OLYMPICS, all compete naked. personally I am for this outcome.
