my deck used to be the best at school games years ago, it was strong spells + traps and burn since i had to use monsters with no effects and 1600 ATK to even fill the deck, the main strategy was to get as much damage as possible with 2 magic cylinders, cemetary bomb (100 dmg for every enemy card on GY) and spear dragon (Deals damage to monsters on defense) with also some good traps to deny flipped effects and destroy an attacking monster
