depends on the company/your contract
most sevice workers (think like, high school part time jobs) are “at-will” which means they can be fired at any time (for any reason technically, though typically they do have to give a reason). this also means the person with the job can quit at anytime they want if they are at-will. it’s common courtesy to give at least a 2-weeks notice though, esp since this doesn’t put you on bad terms with ur employer (who may then say bad things if u don’t give at least 2 weeks)
