Mafia (the game) is played by an uninformed majority (town) and informed minority (mafia, the faction), but sometimes there is a third party (AKA “3P”) whose win condition differs from both town and mafia’s wincons.

Isolde and I doubt there are multiple informed minorities, we doubt the mafia can recruit/convert town, and we doubt there is a lone mafia who is left out from the mafia chat.
