idt we’ve covered stone-weierstrass yet actually
I’m going to use python to I think do an api thing to get emotiv headset to give all of its data to the python program while live, feed it to the ai model…this is the part I know nothing about but I’ll figure it out and then I think it makes most sense to process the data in python and send the data to arudino to actually do stuff?
How does the program actually communicate with the headset
I’ll have to figure that out
Yeah it’s basically intro real analysis. I think he’s talking about how they don’t offer math analysis 2 anymore
I’m so fucking hyped about the way I profess the data tho I need to gush about it
So we have an output of 1 0. Right now our ai model is pretty simple and can only detect if any finger is moving and not which. So we have 1 for moving and 0 for not moving
And so, instead of feeding it to the servos and telling it to move constantly and to stop moving, we take the data and go “okay, I want to use the last three frames to determine whether we should be moving, so let’s create a new array called manipulated data which adds the values of the last three data values. 3 will tell us to move no matter what, 0 tells us to stop moving no matter what, 2 tells us to keep moving if moving and 1 tells us to keep still it still”
no way…
my professor did actually cover a n*merical analysis () application of the contraction mapping principle during our last class
we did a lot of approximations at one point in our real analysis class (and we proved all the bounds)
also at the end we briefly touched on MEASURE THEORY and said that f can be integrated on the interval [a, b] if and only if the set of points in [a, b] where f is discontinuous is a set of measure 0
see in PDEs everyone kept bringing up sets of measure 0 and i had no idea what they were talking about
but measure theory’s not really come up in analysis
professor diff ig
we only proved one way because the other way required topology stuff
And this is really cool because it’s like in control systems! It’s literally the manipulated variable! This is just a control system
incomprehensible, thank you
Someone asked to make it a sticker in math club. Currently the only sticker is this:
