White can keep checking black king, and black cannot take it without drawing it
That’s not the right word the point is white has no legal moves besides moving the rook
i know its take the rook and something bad happens or the rook can inf check
but whats the something bad
The sometjint bad is black has automatically drawn because it cannot escape infinite rook checks

just figured it out
king can’t move
pawn cant en passant
its either infinite checks or take the only piece that can move and lose
it’s rare for white king to not be able to escape to somewhere without a check but the white pawn prevents it from trying to go around

I was right
Anyway it’s sort of devious because obviously black was trying to set up a mating net and probably didn’t actually have the experince to know that you shouldn’t be setting up a mating net unless you have some pawns they can move or you have a gueateed checkmate etc
