Why Arete is the Alpha Wolf.

Let’s start off by talking about what they first did during the day.
They start off with a typical joke vote on Achro, that’s fine.
They then talk about mechanical text chat stuff, whatever it’s also fine they are a Mod.
Arete had also been voting quite a bit day 1, I mean it’s fine but it’s also notable.
They voted Olivest Twice but maybe there was issue with votecount registering idk.

Arete has issues with talk about Apo’s talk in regards to Baker and Tutuu, also notable.
Arete interacted with YBW when they talked about Baker and Tutuu being TvW, also notable.

You know I also just realized Arete’s first mention of Jinxed and um well, I’ll let you all decide for yourselves.
Arete said the following:
“lol for Jinxed, I find lol actively wolfy and Jinxed at-least-not-townie and lol struggles a lot with TMI/has a tendency to vote partners”
This is another thing that was stated:
“my interpretation after-the-fact is that Achro had (or was claiming to have) a preexisting wolfread on Jinxed (or w/w read on Jinxed/lol), and was asking me that question to try to sus out my alignment

but yes Jinxed is not my Top Scumread (currently that’s lol)”

Someone should proof check exactly what Achro said in regards to Jinxed.

Arete said this in one of their posts

The only thing I don’t like about this is the “might want” those specific choice of words.

Why did Arete say the following at the end of the post:

“why does Baker want to kill guava”

Doesn’t even have a question mark but that isn’t even the point of why I don’t like it, it’s calling out something that is going on when normally doesn’t Arete just ask Baker about it? Why does Arete say it like this? You can call me Nitpicky but I don’t like it.

It’s like they are trying to put the blame away from Baker without making it obvious.

Zug - Disagreed with a lot of their reads and didn’t liek their reasoning for many of their pushes. REALLY disliked their “guava has claimed sorc, pls cc”. Everyone kinda let it slip under the rug at the time bc of the panic but like that is insanely scummy for someone to say and doesn’t really seem like something a town member would do (mainly bc they bothered to ping EVERYONE in the game as well to try to get them to cc).

the thing here is that it’s not actually at all scummy to post that. if I’m scum I knew Guava was sorcerer so I don’t get anything from it.

that being said, even knowing that I’m town and having been the one to post it, I didn’t realize that immediately. scum are more likely to realize that, since, well, yeah. but idk. @ thread what do you think

Jinxed - Pretty obv scum to me honestly. Didn’t have a read on me until I voiced reasons to believe they were scum and half of them were just straight up bad. (SERIOUSLY, LISTED SUSPECTING MORE THAN 4 PEOPLE AS A REASON TO SCUMREAD ME, YOU CANNOT TELL ME THAT ISN’T THE MOST ARTIFICAL SHIT). I’m pretty sure arctic/jinxed are both scum trying to get rid of me bc I scumread them both. Individually I also scumread baker and zug but idk how well they fit into a team with those two, I’m not really gonna pay attention to teams until there is an actual maf flip though.

nah imo having not enough scumreads and a lot of townreads is a perfectly good reason to suspect null reads
if someone is more likely to be town, everyone else is slightly more likely to be scum. if a lot of people are more likely to be town, the remaining playres are much more likely to be scum.

Made fun about the Guava / Lol wagons since the former claimed PR (and was previously townread by us) and the latter flipped Town, theorised that 1-2 wolves were in the voting cluster yesterday, colour coded names from before and after Guava’s claim, specifically named Zug and Arctic as players who had voted both, double checked Tutuu’s unvote and decided it looked fine, disliked Arctic’s treatment, checked Icet’s reason to unvote, listed our townreads (stated before today) although Hazard had fewer than I did; I tried explaining my reads on Agent and Pigeon but conceded to label them as gold instead of green, decided to kill into our scumreads if we got the bomb instead of just mindlessly following consensus (quoting your “be confident, you wouldn’t throw” line as a joke), discussed how our name should’ve been Hazmat instead of Jinxed, and that Magnesium is also a hazardous material.

this post is good but is still easily fakeable, doesn’t erally change my perspective on the slot voerall

it means that if you think player A is >rand town, and have no other reads, you implicitly think every other player is slightly >rand scum
it’s just math
think about how it would be if you were super confident all but 4 players were town
