I’m referring to its purpose.
The Mayor is supposed to survive until the end of the game, but it’s also meant to be a trustfall role. That’s why we put the Mayor into the Investigator ping, and not into the Washerwoman ping.

one time i made the chef the invest wrong ping and the ww wrong ping and it got them executed because they solved the game off the ww being poisoned who saw the evil team, and the chef also failed to proc the virgin (who was the baron)

i am curious: why not make a parallel thread in botc games that are dedicated purely so people can write /whisper /accept whisper and /end whisper. doesn’t writing all that in the main thread make it a bit too hard / too much to read everything?
only if youre may/litten and whisper like 200 times per day

On the other hand, imagine having to read a second thread and compare the timestamps to the first thread in order to determine whether two suspects might have talked on the first or second day, when you could instead just gloss over whisper comments in the main thread.
fwiw i actually dont like social solving going in whispers because it puts people super out of the loop, and i thought the point of text games was so that everyone can be up to date on where people are at socially because we move past the limitations of shortform games
why do good players whisper on day 1 instead of just forcing the evil team to either out themselves or go without coordination? are they stupid?
