I wanted to begin introducing homebrew characters to future scripts, and this was the simplest and less impactful way I could think of getting people used to them, rather than throwing someone new into Fall of Rome as an example.

Trouble Brewing has a different night order than normal games. The Spy wakes earlier in the night, meaning they get to see the grimoire if the Imp passes to them.

the night action resolution for night 1 has spy before cawthane. i’m sure this will lead to a very balanced cawthane setup

the spy would see reminder tokens, but the other characters such as washerwoman would act after the spy and the demon being picked if I understand it
does that mean spy doesn’t see reminder tokens?

Yes, the Spy will see the grimoire before the Cawthane is selected. However, as with Lil’ Monsta, the Spy cannot communicate this to their team.

How we ran Lil’ Monsta in the UPick game was that evils were invited to a private chat and told to choose a player, say a name, and nothing else.
