if the spy knows the ww ping and chooses to put the cawthane in the ww ping im perfectly fine with just saying “you dont get to know the real ww ping until next night” because thats very much their prerogative to do that

you cant show the washerwoman a townsfolk and then replace that townsfolk with an outsider because a baron is in play

set up doesnt mean set in stone. it means you place them down during set up for me. you can move them around later for poisoning and such. but its a set up ability because you set it up before night order

The square brackets affect setup. The top 4 characters learn information that is decided during setup, but it’s not like anything would change about the gamestate if they were something else.
