royal/mystic timing isnt a thing mystic always wins that and royal needs an outright rework

a bunch of other roles (soldier for example) need reworks too

I would make gift claiming obligatory in the action phase, that way people voted can’t spite claim lottery, it adds more paranoia into the mix

Wwa could just take away their vote from Hippo.
Royal executes Hippo.
Mystic can’t kill anyone.
(literally only the Royal was the only loser on that vote-chain)
Wwa survives.
(well, it was the Royal’s secret vote which caused the Royal’s death in this specific scenario, and the fact that selfvotes were allowed.)

Timing issue was not a problem in this game, but in a game, where the votes changes from one majority to an other (which can happen, even multiple time during the same VP), Royal needs the timing the execution with the corrent form. (before the votes tips over the majority to an other player.)

Soldier is a fine role, but It’s the only role which stops the MAA shooting randomly.

So Soldier doesn’t need a rework, I would rather giving MAA an other nerf.

I think even without the Royal’s secret vote, and Wwa’s vote the execution/force-execution could have gone through… (need to doublecheck though)

And as far as I know, Royal’s force-execution does not put a vote on their target. They just forcing the execution.

I see what you are saying, thematically though I feel like the role abilities fit with soldier more than nymph - we could buff solider and rework nymph imo if we wanted to go flavor route

Admittedly it’s probably easier to replace solider tho

Originally I was gonna queue my action to immediately vote Hippo and then force execution
But I found out after I died, that it also would’ve resulted in my death lol

you might argue that people who are good solvers are the biggest threat, which is a good point, but the more people we have solving the game and guessing people, the quicker the game goes and the less time i have to put up with people randomly trying to kill me for no reason. also i can conceal my role to an extent, but i can’t do much about people trying to kill me

BTW you were like my favorite person after I saw this. I don’t know why, but I found I was so happy that you considered me the most reasonable person and also okay for solving.

Oh right, Arctic did that thing which I totally forgot about
Did I kill Arctic? Basically yes.
Was it for no reason? No.

I went for a 3-possibility guess, 2 of which were mechanical threats to me and one of which gets self protection. Turns out Arctic was the protective boyo which was the one I didn’t care about as much. But being friends with the role which is just my dream role (Prof) was effective while it lasted.

I killed him in a previous game for unexplained reasons, even though I had some reasons
