Behind the Masks: Ides of Insanity (LITTEN-THE DOG WINS!)

Lol I knew Jane was the professor as soon as they asked for an alliance, and I didn’t trust them  I knew they had enough guesses to guess me immediately if I did a 3f3

Well, they didn’t ask for an alliance exactly, they asked for a 3f3 so I figured I’d die if I didn’t lie
So I just didn’t claim and opted to vote them out instead of guessing

My allies were the gardener (Mortal enemy), blacksmith (Enemy 2), musician (Enemy 3), poisoner (A threat), mystic (A threat) and Professor (My dream)

So turns out I had a f’d up game and was a pseudo Peasant

My allies were the gardener and barbarian to start with, and then we replaced barbarian with blacksmith

It would’ve worked pretty well if Leafia hadn’t died like immediately lol
Cause she could win all duels and I could win all dances

I knew Litten was in alliances with probably everyone but I also knew it benefitted him to try to keep me alive at least until I could use the Royal vote and force execution in his favor

Wow, so much going on behind the scenes. I feel kind of left out. But really I didn’t want to actively make alliances cause of the chance of betrayal, so it’s my own doing. And I actually survived longer, so there’s that. :ayaya:

Just didn’t expect to get Mystic’d, and by the time I realized, it was too late lol

I actually considered approaching Jane for an alliance to try things out cause they turned out more reasonable than I use to think in that Gods and Slayers game. But then after our 1st dance they went right to voting me and almost got me out, so I was thinking uh, I guess that’s not such a good idea. :ayaya:

Me and Hip had been planning on getting them to use their ability.
Not necessarily on who they’d use it on.
But I was dead by the time yall did your dance of fate

Copying the Royal is a fair move tbh
Grants that sweet extra vote and force execution, at the cost that literally everyone will know you’re the Royal lol

And the fact that the force execution is one use.
Meaning if the previous royal had used it, you don’t get that.
2 votes though ain’t too bad.
But the fact you’re basically unable to hide makes it atrocious if you don’t get the force exe.

Well, he got the force exe because I rescinded my action to use it lol

if the role exists purely for a balance reason it should be unsurprising that it’s miserable to play

i don’t really know much since i died immediately but the entire basis of a role being a sitting duck who only has passive abilities probably wouldn’t be enjoyable because if you don’t get shot/poisoned you get nothing out of your role

Well, you are the least likely to randomly screw people over

Kiiruma made up that he knew I was a good duelist (he couldn’t have known this because the only 2 people I challenged didn’t challenge anyone else, and the person I won a duel to was really low on the duel list). Then he told Jane this and they guessed me as 3 random good duelists since they were professor so I died

Jane didn’t even fact check that he couldn’t have known this and just went with it lol

Oh wow, so that’s what happened
