There was an attempt.
But the project had only 1 real programmer (at least I think, he is the only one who works in that sector.), and I didn’t heard about them since last Christmas.
But the last public test I am aware of was a little more than 2 years ago.
Also the test runs rarely had more than 5 people at the same time, cause RT format is better until at least we figure out the Basic issues with the bot. (we used a discord bot in the first place.)
So without people who know, how the game works inside out, (and use the same programming language as discord.) it were hard to test and foolproof specific interactions.
It definetly should not be a single person’s job to bring it to other platforms, but without any (one or more) programmer, who has a lot of free time and a big enthusiasmus for BtM, the project would never happen.

I can see turbo BtM happening if we remove the AP and the Musician/Blacksmith with it. (on discord or on other real life notification platform most likely.)
No, 2 min phase would never work with all of the challenges and stuff. But 15 min or a bit more for the first half, and progressively less during the game could be managable.
(and a seperate channel for the challenge results only.)
Also IRL the storyteller can just write down all of the results, and give out all of them on paper form.
But ST-ing a BtM game would be a nightmare not because of the challenges, but because of the gifts which is core part of the game…

Also some secret action, like secret Royal vote or CJ secretly skipping VP are hard to make happen IRL without giving away who did those.
