Why AP need to be that long?
I would say first CP 15 min, first AP 5 min, first VP 2 min.
The rest of the CP Max 10 min, AP 2-3 min, and VP about 6-7 min.
DP can a bit longer depending on guesses.
Also
You can speed up BtM multiplex ways, if you are worried about too long games.
For example:
-introducing more killing roles, which can make the average 3 kills per cycle higher.
(there are quite a few experimental one.)
-removing defensive roles or some of their abilities. (like Soldier, Gardener, Mystic, Nymph’s protection in certain position, Royal’s for e-execution or CJ’s VP-skip)
-experimenting with the mechanics. (like removing some gift, or removing AP or DP, ofc those come with change in specific roles.)
-smaller setups. 16p-24p is good for Forum games, but I think a Quick Btm with 8p-12p can be quite fun to play as well. (ofc with a balanced smaller setup) And less people means less cycle on average.
