Bland & Flavorless Mountainous 15er - Mafia Winnered

and I can have no qualms saying that b/c this is mountainous

:blobby:

Alright, in conjunction with most of Arcticā€™s early posts asking questions but not following up on those responses with what he thought they meant, I took the May example to mean he was pushing agenda, to get those questions answered and in the Town consciousness.

Iā€™ve never nightkilled when I want to be, so I say I donā€™t want to be.
Last game I lived to N4 despite being an outed Town Jailkeeper with two redchecks on Mafia.
(Clearly, Mafia just wanted to spite me.)

Okay so

what exactly did you think he was trying to do with the May post

I feel like my question here is not very complicated and Iā€™m not sure if youā€™re avoiding it on purpose or if Iā€™m just really bad at asking

same
but every game I brainwash myself into thinking Iā€™ve gotten better and fake confidence in my reads until Iā€™m actually confident in them only to find out theyā€™re wrong so then I choose to only selectively remember the reads that I got right or when I was close to being right and then sign up for another game

rinse and repeat

I feel like Iā€™ve answered your question, Iā€™m not sure if thereā€™s a subtle second meaning youā€™re trying to ask.
Ask May about the Eliza case. Get May to answer it and get May to commit to it. Distance by townreading Eliza and scumreading May; when this didnā€™t work, drop Eliza in readlist. Try to set up V/V wagons.

Yeah, actually, looking at thatā€¦ it seems a little bit more performative than most of the other sorts of questions Iā€™ve seen from people in Prismaā€™s situation. The tone is a bit off, Magnus specified it was a joke answerā€¦ feels a little wolfy to me.

so okay

just to be sure Iā€™m understanding you right

you thought that Arctic was disagreeing with Mayā€™s Eliza read in the hopes that it would make her double down? why did you think that?

Morning. Still feel sick but at least I donā€™t have to work today.

From what little I saw, Zorvo seems V.

Arctic you enjoy not actually reading what I say donā€™t you?

I already stated why and that Alephā€™s chit chat with Arete I donā€™t see as aligned.
Your soft defending Arete here.

Thatā€™s about it, thanks for putting it better than I could. It happened in Love Is War, it happened in GOAT^2, it probably happened in Morbtainado but I havenā€™t reread that game, itā€™s probably happened over times. Getting Town to kill Town is the Mafia dream.

Note that this happened just after people were talking about how Prismaā€™s lack of knowledge on mafia terminology meant they seemed towny and had to be ā€œprotectedā€. I think that context specifically makes me side-eye it extra, and Iā€™m willing to place a vote here for now and see what happens: VOTE: Prisma

I agree that mafia like it when they get town to kill other town

I am just confused about how you interpreted ā€˜disagreeing with a scumread on Elizaā€™ as ā€˜trying to get town to kill other townā€™

was there anything in particular that made you think that Arctic was trying to mindgame May into doubling down, as opposed to just ā€¦ disagreeing with Mayā€™s read? (or even, being mafia who wanted to stop May from scumreading Eliza)

Why the votes on Zorvo? If yā€™all can catch me up.

They liked my post. I do like them!

The extent of Arcticā€™s argument was ā€œElizaā€™s usually more vocal as Mafia, and youā€™re suspecting her for being sparseā€, which I construed as ā€œgo ahead May, find other arguments to suspect Elizaā€.
And then Arctic took the opportunity to drop the townread on Eliza once you made your case, without really interacting with your read.

I think this wheee is towny lol :wowee:

another point on this
sometimes wolves find it hard to jumping into a bunch of villagers posting so they might latch onto something their partner says

not saying thatā€™s what I think happened here but just the ā€œchanceā€ reason isnā€™t very solid

itā€™s obviously a joke alone but can be interpreted as serious when paired with a vote
which is what you did

idk, if a postcap is going to lead to more wallposts, Iā€™m not sure I want them anymore :wowee:

is this something you find wolfy or just weird?

that was quite a long wall
pain

back to the grind

oh yeah to be clear the vote was serious but the part about thinking that the wolfclaim was genuinely him clearing things up and thanking him for it was a joke

I wasnā€™t sure, I wanted an explanation to try to narrow it down

(unfortunately the explanation essentially boils down to ā€˜May has had or claims to have had very different experiences with Zorvo from mineā€™ which is pretty much impossible to verify)

@Phraze

can you explain your read on Zorvo? A few sentences + a couple quotes is fine, I donā€™t need a wallpost, Iā€™m just trying to get a sense of where your head is at
