Bland & Flavorless Mountainous 15er - Mafia Winnered

Normally I would inquire to your line of reasoning behind this vote but since I’m not a massive idiot i figure it is unneeded to ask why you made such an opportunistic vote.

You vote no-execute because you think it’s good for the game
I no-execute because I’m mafia
we are not the same.

instead of posting snarky gifs why not try to contribute? I may be mistaken but werent you the one talking about trying to put yourself on a postcap?

true, you got me. i am about to go to sleep, and decided to check the thread one last time before doing so and this was the first thing that came to my mind to post when i saw what was going on.

the occasional shitpost does no harm. i’ve already said what i wanted to about this discussion, so instead you get this gif

Eliminations are the Town’s only means of killing anyone. There are occasional advantages to no-exe: “this player might be Town” is not one of them.

No-exeing in MeLo can force Mafia to remove a possible suspect from play.
No-exing D1 keeps a possible suspect alive for longer, therefore giving Town less information to work with.

This isn’t even the point I’m addressing. Please try to refute the actual point instead of bringing up something unrelated to the line of discussion we are on

Your point is “no-execute so we can come back with information regarding the nightkill”, correct?

kinda think the straight up rudeness is towny

(also kind of funny but I have a weird sense of humor)

why is this funny :joy_cat:

ok Eliza town
let’s see if I can be right 3/3 :wowee:

The problem is that we’ll only run into the same general worldviews that we’ve got today, since Town can’t control the nightkill and can’t necessarily predicate flips off that.

We have 48 hours.

I would have to disagree. Executing a wolf on the first day, while it limits possible interactions to analyse for the future, is still an evil dead. Executing a villager on the first day, while unfortunate, can still let us look at how people managed that wagon; who was for it; who was against it; who was neutral; who were the counterwagons; how people acted on the first day. Killing someone who probably would have been executed later on the first day is also beneficial, fmpov.

Furthermore, Mafia wouldn’t have figured out their gameplay on the first day, which gives Town the opportunity to catch them off-guard. No-exing, mafia killing someone predictable… everyone might just return to the thread having the same reads as D1, but formulated as formal cases. Nothing will really change.

Already responded to this, letting Mafia kill first doesn’t give us a whole lot unless the kill is surprising.

In conclusion: executing every day, save for MeLo, is the optimal Town strategy in Mountainous for a reason.

Who’s the third one?

3/3 as in townreading Eliza correctly 3 times out of 3 games

Hydra idea.
One always tells the truth.
One always lies.
But you won’t know which one is speaking at any given time.
