Iām thinking somethingā¦ less known
Something like Hwisp. Which certainly has a few clues strewn about, but not its full ability
Sure. Though I did promise to put in Ferryman in a future BoTF Iām hosting.
There will definitely be the Ferryman in the next BOTF I host, if I see a bunch of newbies to BoTC/BoTF.
Iām going to extend signups at least over the weekend to accommodate the possibility of additional signups then. Sorry for the inconvenience to any currently existing impatient players.
Hi Silviu.
For the sake of nostalgia

I am 100% going to regret this decision 5 minutes after when I decide to actually process what the hell this script is
Itās actually a pretty good script.
New World Chaos is this except even crazier, yet you joined that.

Plague doctor is the new outsider, I mean at least itās not another minion lol but idk how to feel about it
I like Plague Doctor a lot, but Iām the sort of person whoās a real fan of the ST fair management side of a game. I can see a lot of players having it since it gives more agency to a person who is perceived to just be an adjudicator, though.
My issue is that it inherently might cause distrust with the ST because they have a minion ability and are going to be incentivized to use it for the evil team, and to do that they need active information on the game to know where best to use it. e.g listening in on a conversation where player A distrusts player B, so they make player A harpy mad about player B
The Storytellerās primary purpose is to extend the game until final three and create a balanced and thrilling narrative for both teams. The rules serve to limit their powers and enable the good team to solve the game, with the evil team trying to play around those boundaries. To that end, the ST will use their ability to aid the evil team, but not necessarily exclusively. If players are going to suspect the ST to abuse their ability, they might already be playing the wrong game.
Like pick your poison?
Letās take Pick Your Poison. We were in control of the nightkills, but that wasnāt really a focus of the game. We were also in control of the Drunk, which we had to employ for the sake of balance; and the Puzzledrunk, which was the main shenanigan we pulled that game.
We could have made the Savant and Dreamer both drunk, but we didnāt for the sake of fun. We couldāve nightkilled the evil team immediately, but we also didnāt do that. We were paying attention to private whispers, but it was never to abuse and punish the perspective of one team or another. A team wouldnāt have been advantaged by hiding their thoughts from us, and in the case of a Plague Doctor ST-ability it should work the same way.
Beautiful
I will still not forget
