Conceiving of an elaborate Blood on the Clocktower romance novel in which the protagonist rands High Priestess and the Storyteller encourages them to go speak to their love interest resulting in a confession of love et cetera

Very important stuff

When I see a new Blood on the Clocktower role my first thought is always “how does this fit into the romance novel”. Very long running concept and idea. Did not invent it just now

except it’s actually a Vortox game

Yeah the love interest eventually tries to kill the protagonist in their sleep. I don’t know enough about Blood on the Clocktower to know why. Do you know any roles that might make them do this

Is Blood on the Clocktower Real in this book or are they literally just playing Blood on the Clocktower. Follow up question if the latter. Is the murder real

The Demon. This is a Twilight scenario.

We got a category 4 Twilight scenario on our hands

Shabaloth is a pretty good stand in for a vampire, right?

Well then we need a love triangle if it’s a Twilight scenario. Who’s the third party, the Storyteller?

I thought that’s a monster from H.P Lovecraft.

The Storyteller is just a ghost playing matchmaker. Is there any better role to stand in for Jacob than the Lycanthrope? It’s also a killing role, on the opposite team to the Demon, so we can say both are trying to vie for the High Priestess’s attention (kill them), thus completing the triangle.
