Sure, you won’t know for lying players, and that will suck, but that is a dangerous line to walk. It’s better to tell the truth so you don’t accidentally slip-up any information you gathered illegitimately.

If I had a nickel for every time I was doing really well in a BOTF and then suddenly game integrity was broken and so the game had to be shut down

I would have 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot but its wierd it happened twice.

If we go with this approach, that we can every game that ever has one slip up, then we would be canning games left and right.
Even if we don’t go that far, how big is too big to handle? How much is too much? How far should a host be expected to go for the sake of the players playing before it’s agreeable that the game is far too gone, and it would be better for the players to just go ahead and can the game.

Not many games here have slip ups, let alone major ones

Maybe when you used to play on FOL hosts were sorta new and made mistakes but fol has changed
