I think there is a good chance for playwright to give good info to hannibal may just to “brainwash” them further
I would file a complaint, Hannibal is supposed to be a solvable puzzle

they are drunk and it would be really bad manners for the story teller to give hannibal true information the entire game
Like, the thing with hannibal, is that the minions are supposed to be feeding the misinformation and the demon, and we are supposed to figure out which are the non minions sprouting misinformation
I also think Leafia Legionary claim was signalling to hannibals
