One of my grandmothers was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which is a related condition causing chronic pain, but, uh, every doctor she ever saw just told her it was all in her head because Woman Moment. I got it too, but more access to information thanks to internet & modern technology means we were able to see specialists who actually knew what they were doing rather than just performing Misogyny Beam Attack and referring me to a therapist for depression

How horrendous wtf
Went to a cardiologist. Went âhey, my heart rate raises by over 30 BPM when I go from sitting to standing, can you diagnose me with Condition That Just Means Your Heart Rate Raises By Over 30 BPM When You Go From Sitting To Standingâ and the cardiologist said No. Youâre depressed
Keep in mind that I had already been evaluated by a therapist for depression and they said I didnât have it

when I have to clean the living room I get really sad because I have to lift the sofa pillows. It hurts my fingers to lift the sofa pillows. Those are too big and heavy
