I feel a bit bad but in the second game when the player gets high streaks. I always find the cross-section of the opponent getting barraged by skull emojis while followed by an exaggerated yelp to be very amusing

Predecessor had mechanical innovations that meant the story was an afterthought, but the story of the sequel was the only justification for it to exist, so they had to step it up a notch, maybe?
