When it came to spellng and literacy, I’ve been ahead of every class I’ve ever been in except for prep, where I once threw because I didn’t like being told what to do.
Instead I completely wrote down the wrong words, like “Christmas” or “Simpsons”.

I remember once trying to memorise the spelling of Christmas and instead saying “Chismas”. I couldn’t tell you why this is one of my core memories.
