Once I was 3-shot veteran, was targeted with like every night action in the game but managed to coordinate protects on me and such so I could survive to lategame with 3 charges. I come into public chat, claim veteran, do some strutting around about how everyone wants me sooo bad but I am literally unkillable I am immune to being roleblocked I’m just going to alert every single night and there’s nothing you can do about it

and then wolves shot my lover that night.

one time over in Fred’s circuit we were playing a game with similar structure to a Greatest Idea mafia (just, different roles)

and for some reason one player decided that they wanted to be a Mafia Sanity Enforcer (forces all cops to be Sane)

they got redchecked as one of the last wolves alive by the naive cop

to be fair this was the seven cop game so wolves were fucked regardless (like, we almost misexed! once. and it wasn’t really very almost.)

oh there’s one interesting thing from that one arjun game. we “lucked” into killing this role night 0. it was a whisper game.

the chain was 4 roles long and involved the entire eleatic school for the record. they all confirmed another one upon dying. i hate the eleatic school so much

First time I was mafia, open-setup game, most threatening roles to wolves are a JOAT, a 3-shot vigilante, and an unlimited parity cop.

I openwolf the whole damn time. On D2, I swap my vote last-second from the claimed VT to a player who ends up flipping JOAT, meaning I get hte latter executed before they can claim. Somehow my team and I convince everybody that I only would’ve done that if I were aligned with the townie I saved, so I survive that next day and become ““locktown”” when he flips town. Note that there is May Bias involved in this.

After that, my teammate manages to TPR read the vig and the cop, use the Two rolecops we got in one night to verify, guess the parity cop’s investigations because they noticeably softed them, realise they have a redcheck on me since they investigated a player we’d just executed. So I just camp SoD and claim a red on the parity cop before they have a chance to claim a red on me. Then we won the game redirecting the vig’s shot to a townie

Truly this is wolfing

Because of weird mech reasons, despite us having the game basically locked the day after I got the parity cop out, there was still A Day Which Happened. So I spent the whole time explaining all the rules to riichi mahjong while the entirety of town and also the entirety of wolves piled their votes onto me. My highest mafia achievement. I have told this story so many times

oh and also if you were wondering how night 0 went 4 different mafia members got caught by town investigators. one of them is a commuter who should not have been but arjun accidentally gave the cop a result and then redacted it thinking they didn’t see it. they saw it. when confronted arjun, not knowing his fuckup, threw a penguin under the bus. no one found out the truth for three months
