frankly the games and player stories themselves are much more exciting than the NFL for my money
some of the rules are worse, some are better, I don’t care enough to care
but like
if I’m going to choose to sit down and watch a game, either in-person or on TV, all else being equal college would have my vote

i think college games are more compelling because nfl players are hardened professionals and therefore less likely to fuck up
it adds tension
watch the nfc south
someone’s never watched a panthers game
nfc east has the giants i don’t need to worry about switching to other channels
i did the math. it’s possible for the nfc south to give a 7-10 team a home playoff game but it would require at least one loss to the panthers
a good portion of my other deaths are me wanting to do something realllly cool. like at one point on summit i missed a strawberry and was like “hmm. im gonna do that thing where you go really fast to go back there” and died Several Times
northwestern was the only football game i watched irl and it was super cold and they lost
the eagles are at risk of dropping to 12th place by point differential if the giants win by 155 points
cool this narrows it down to… most northwestern games
oh come on
have you ever seen a Falcons, Vikings, Jets, Panthers, Jaguars, Giants, Raiders or Eagles game? and those are just the ones with a reputation for fucking up i can remmeber off the top of my head
