i like feeling like i have autonomy and control (obviously for mafia you canāt make this the case for every player or else the setup will be woefully broken, but you can make them feel like they have control)

what strikes you about psychological horror
i dont like rpgs ftr like final fantasty or pokemon or anything like that
i like roleplaying with other people n stuff like that, horror is a good atmosphere but usually just a ranking system is fun and climbing those ranks after months of work is fun
psychological horror is good bc usually it relies more on eariness and unsettling things that are far more realistic than like. spooky monster jumps at you and scrteams. if your mind is (therotically) playing tricks on you or actually going insane i think thats also an inherently interesting plotline (i am also very into psychology so that is my bias)
