I just can’t get over Roland being a short comedic character, and Lilith being an old woman.

Everything else about the movie could be good.

I’m turning into one of those Harry Potter or GoT complainers

but damn, I kind of get it now

i don’t like the casting for tannis either tbh. All i can see is jamie lee curtis wearing a funky outfit and playing a generic character
but shrug could be better in the movie itself i guess

just sucks that the two main characters are horribly cast lol
oh well idk what i expected

the two games on here have gotten better remakes on other consoles
you don’t have a 3ds emulator so one of them is not available for emulation then
shadows of valentia (that game) is a pretty solid story with likeable characters but the gameplay is lacking. it’s not actively bad. it’s like reheated food.

all of the games here are bangers but 4/5 have caveats

mystery of the emblem is generically good but really lacks on the characterization and has a pretty generic story. good gameplay though.

genealogy is good. it’s a game that’s exhausting to do a complete chapter → save and stop loop. It’s a game that’s really fun to play optimally but the gameplay is a little ehhhh without a guide. Plot is amazing. Characters are aight. Not many conversations kinda hurts characterization.
Place feels lived in for sure though.

thracia 776 is not a good game to play unless you’re prepared to get sucker punched. It’s my favorite game in the series by far but a lot of why comes down to once you know what’s going on.

I think you’d like fe8 the characters are great it’s probably my favorite cast in the series and the story is very good especially if you’re willing to look deeper

generic tier list for fire emblem games to get invested in the series:

S:

Path of Radiance (specifically on hard mode) - amazing cast and the asking price of getting to know more about them (support conversations) is pretty easy since you just need to field the two characters to build support and otherwise it’s automatic. gameplay is reasonably well positioned and doesn’t ask too much. bonus experience means you can choose any characters you want to build without having to sacrifice to much to invest into them

Sacred Stones - it’s easy sure, but reasons I mentioned in previous post

other games have too many caveats for me to extremely generically recommend
these are closest to the ideal in terms of good gameplay / good story

thank you!!
