Aliens arenât a race of humans, so how would we be racist
as it was trained to spot people walking at it, it had no understanding when someone started walking backwards to it
one person hid under a box
another used a bush
when everything is said and done we may hate each other but we can form a common bond with hating aliens more

for the record I also think that weapons development is broadly bad when youâre the one doing it, but at least you never (as far as I know) made a big deal about how you were definitely not going to do that, and then did it anyway 
(an extended debate on the morality of weapons development probably runs into the politics rule so if you really want to fight about this then DM me I guess? )
