step 1: go set your dash to be purely chronological (you can find instructions here). this is technically optional but if you don’t do it you’re getting rid of the key advantages of Tumblr
step 2: follow people who post things you want to see
step 3: reblog posts you want your followers to see
step 4: if the people you follow stop posting things you want to see, and start instead posting really dumb discourse that you don’t care about, unfollow them
