I assumed silviu knew what he was talking about when he said it. Big mistake

Youbie so my perception of props have been distorted intensely by watching too many american movies. So feel free to talk how a prom :tm: is hosted

this is a gross misconception based on a study that only examined people up to age 25. the more accurate conclusion is that brains never stop developing. it’s almost like we learn new things always

Do you also think American bank robbers wear cowboy hats and enter the bank with bags and demand the clerk open the vault and fill them up with cash or they’d shoot them with their revolvers?

ok actually that’s really funny

me when there is some misconception based on one study that people grossly misinterpreted and it just somehow became widespread
(if this is true, of course)

so you know like “alpha wolfs” right. how supposedly there’s one wolf who like controls a pack. Yeah that just Isn’t The Case and the person who discovered alpha wolves tried to spend the rest of their life being like “hey I was wrong this doesn’t actually exist” but it was too little too late

Do you guys remember the stanford prison experiment? Uh um oopsie!

(this one is my opinion) the standford prison experiemnt suffers from so many egregious ethical errors that it’s incredibly hard (for me) to accept the result without there being other studies to back it up, of which there are not any studies to back it up, yet its treated as a great example of how anonymity leads to people being “evil”
