This is imo exactly what Dems need
Somebody people might have heard of but don’t automatically hate like Kamala or Newsom
Michigan is an important swing state so a rep from there is a good way to help secure votes from the surrounding area (and combat the Vance pick)
She’s genuinely pretty cool with no major missteps that could really kill her like Clinton
And in general I just think she’d be good for the role

there is so much thought given to undecided voters and I just have to be honest and say I don’t give a shit. how can you be undecided? How the fuck can someone rationally look at the two candidates and think “golly gee idk”? The thing that matters is getting the base to vote. Hillary didn’t lose because of undecided voters. She lost because people who vote democrat didn’t bother to come out and vote for her. I think Biden was going to lose for a similar reason. Kamala is way, way more likely to energize the base and that’s all that really matters.

one thing i find fascinating about america is the aversion to any third party. the Extremely Racist Party and the Legalise Nuclear Bombs Party popped off last election here, with the Moderately Racist Party and the We Fucking Hate England Party falling substancially. how you guys miss out
