One thing maybe a person can lie to themself about is “i am towny, i deserve to be townread, i am entitled to being upset at being wrongly scumread” or “my mafia partners shouldn’t bus me without my permission, i am entitled to being upset at them for it”. These two are in my opinion lies that we tell ourselves as a coping strategy with the stressful situation
