I mean I guess I could talk about the narrative benefit of corruption
Whenever I think about things that made me unsettled when I play games I always default back to Arkham Asylum’s Scarecrow segments

Olivest is more than the sum of their parts. It’s not about Us, it’s about Olivest. We have a chaotic evil child

Olivest went through some difficult times and turned to a life of crime because of it

Corruption is one of those tropes that I love until the end of time because there are so many ways to make it interesting
You can do a narrative corruption and it’s a banger
You can do a character corruption and it’s a banger way of showing what’s going on in the inside

is this our dynamic i made this up right now

corruption is cool I guess

They still call it a “life of crime” regardless of their ability to emotionally handle shoplifting
