the thing to keep in mind is that that’s not necessarily a bad thing, but they’re so repressed and ashamed that they’re not going to express it in a healthy way and that it’ll lead to like maladaptive behaviors or their impulses get transformed into something heinous. Or they just hide it and spring it on a partner so late into the relationship that it risks causing a lot of strife.
