hi my slime
im at work still i need to gtfo my phone lmao
snowstorm does this to me
oh not even just SLIME im YOUR SLIME now
A setup that rands roles will always be seen as lesser than alternatives from a design methodology for it
Instead examine from player experience side
But I will say I agree that semi-open sucks
Thatâs why LFoL is effectively semi-closed
true
semi opens work best in live client environments that need to add spice to their game
like town of salem or throne of lies!
Whatâs the difference between semi-open and semi-closed?
We should optimize for the worst setup possible while still sticking to FM conventions
Semi-closed: you know what roles could be in game but not much else
Semi-open is literally every other permutation of that which isnât Open or Closed
As you can see this is extremely difficult to codify
LFoL is semi-closed because I can theoretically do any variation of things as long as MM/CL are present and majority of game is BD
These definitions suck
agreed
A fucking matrix setup and FoL are both semi-open but wildly different
Semi-open is just ârolelist has permutationsâ
ok so
if semi-opens which rig role rand are bad because they rig because then you read the host
then closed setups are bad because you can read the host
Open Or Bust
