ok
this is pointless
there is a time and a place for nearly every form of rigging
suggesting otherwise is disingeuous at best

semi-opens are marketing a fundamentally different experience than open or closed and have their inherent problems like those two
the Theoretically Optimal Form of a lot of high power semi-opens includes role-rigging, and I confidently believe that arguing otherwise is really stupid

also we need another type of way to refer to setups with small numbers of permutations
I’d suggest Matrix even if it doesn’t work for all instances of that

the solution is STOP RUNNING HIGH POWER ROLE MADNESS SEMI OPENS. GIVE YOUR FACTIONS BLINDSPOTS. MAKE PROTECTION KIND OF SUCK

@May, talking about @benguinedparbecue: “I genuinely don’t know if [benguined] would realclaim Sage to me day 1. That seems kind of dumb and stupid.”

fake answer: “i couldn’t think of a fakeclaim”

genuine answer: i couldn’t think of a fucking fakeclaim

it’s usually the exact opposite on the TP end if hosts bother to try to give scum some counterplay for TPs
it’s always shit like infinite wolf bus driver

just run KRC and blame the players for designing bad roles

the issue is not accepting that the tp is too strong. you cant just elevate around it you have to butcher the tp

You can’t be held responsible for bad design if you aren’t the one designing
Be the middle manager that you were always meant to be

ok but if there are like a couple prot shots each night and you can’t dodge a single one then skill issue
