holy shit i did it
it was swiss
1st game won 2-1 (i lost one coz i netdecked and didnt know how to pilot)
2nd game lost 0-2 (second loss is coz im new to the ancient mtgo interface and i accidently skipped an entire turn)
3rd game won 2-0 (technically 1-0 but opponent ragequit in the face of my big blue steel robots)
4th game won 2-0
im making it in the top!!! guaranteed top 7. probably between 4th and 7th place. not bad not bad

ended our glorious run on a 1-2 against some cheesy gambling deck
this is fun and the funniest part is that ending up in top 8 will give me enough tix (points to buy cards) to cover the cost for my deck. essentially every time u top 8 u get ur money back (and keep the cards). why didnt anyone tell me magic can be so free / cheap
