the issue is that planeswalkers being bad at defending themselves doesn’t matter if you can put out that much loyalty on turn 3 and it lets you casually turn anything better than a 3/3 into a 3/3

i have a sliver of hope that wotc will finally start banning cards based on the amount of human fucking misery they’re causing more now because the few times they’ve done it have been so successful for the metagame and playerbase of the respective formats it’s hard to overstate
