uh in the “bad roles from that game that were specifically my fault” category, the spriggy the sprigatito role was a Unseen role that had 9 lives (which meant it started with like 9 BPVs)

and it was also a bodyguard, so every day it could protect another Unseen - if that Unseen would die, the spriggy the sprigatito role just lost a BPV

(ITAs that didn’t kill were, in that game, processed exclusively as “miss,” rather than “hit-no-one-died”)

which, I think when I designed that role, I was still thinking of this as like, a normal FM game but larger, where yeah sure it’ll block a vig or an ITA but it won’t save you from being executed

when I should have been thinking of it as “this can protect two Unseen members from the primary source of Blue Dragon killpower with no way of detecting it as such”
