Humans can’t absorb Human souls, Monsters can’t absorb Monster souls. This is why Flowey, who is neither, can absorb both.

Undyne has shown the ability to kill a defenseless child multiple times I believe in her
It’s a one way forcefield and people are clearly littering into a lake above the Underground.
