just saying tbag humans don’t have magic so monsters must suck at fighting physically too, I don’t think that’s a soul issue we literally saw undyne flex boulders
The human in the intro cutscene had a magic staff.
none of the humans dying to magic is incredibly improbable. is monsterkind that cooked?
Wait, so monsters are literally just outclassed on everything
this still feels like an odd thing considering the giant fuckoff magic barrier making it completely impossible to escape
“the monsters were sealed underground by magic”
from the monster souls clearl
the librarby states that humans have no magic but like.
where did the barrier come from???
We can likely presume they lost it later on when they moved to a more civilised, modern society.
actually plausible answer
Deltarune might support this.
the monsters are keeping tabs on modern society?
Isn’t it weird there’s only two boss monsters to begin with?
the 6 other people who fell down mightve had something to say
And how, you need a boss monster soul to go through the barrier
Very weird requirement isn’t it?
that’s because a human soul by its lonesome isn’t strong enough to pass through the barrier
theres presumably more than two
maybe the boss monster gene just gives you the intense desire to perform ill-advised experiments on yourself
Noted. The Monsters had their souls stolen because human military combatants are going to kill, enabling an ability to use magic proportional to their soul power. Like the Monster soul has the abilities, but the Human soul is a battery. This explains why Monsters grow intensely powerful when a soul is taken.
Done.
