unless somebody gets like a really lucky stun or a sick coreflip that the red team fails to react to, green team is going to get scored on here every single time, because all of their zones of control are stacked and do not allow a way for the core to leave their net
by falling back to “help” the forward and midfielder have put themselves into a position where the green team has nobody to pass to except for the red team to get the core out of there
they can clear it but the only place they can clear it to is the waiting arms of red team
if we make literally only a single change to this and put one of the green team members (it literally doesn’t matter which one, we’ll assume the forward though) in a better spot now green team has options
the era and the dubu are still probably too stacked here, but if they can get it to the zentaro there is a chance he can move with the core (moving his zone of control with him) between the opponents and go for a much more open shot on the net

the basic idea of having a midfielder and a forward exists to allow characters to play to their strengths as a character while also putting them in a field position where they don’t overlap with their other forward and can be as effective as possible

honestly red team is in a pretty good setup here as long as nobody on green has coreflip and kai has his cooldowns up

some of them are even really good at it (Ai.Mi and Estelle come to mind)
more so “willow as juliette just sails past the core carrying an innocent mugging victim with her and im left to go get it”
but like if you look at Estelle and then consider “should I play her hard forward”
I think I am 2x worse as rasmus on aimi’s app because the optimal play is to go for ko’s with hook and for some reason I fail to aim my hook at enemies
you quickly realize that her special and her secondary are both projectiles that can really be bodyblocked
