theres some kinda cool electives i have down
ECE 50616 - Physics And Manufacturing Of Solar Cells
ECE 51018 - Hybrid Electric Vehicles
ECE 51300 - Diffraction, Fourier Optics, And Imaging

not like suuuuper interesting but solar panels are Cool

how about you ask someone out

oh god

flashbacks

not to what you’re thinking of

oh?

in the UK i don’t have the option to study random general education modules, everything is course relevant

well there are some elective module options which are kinda like that but the process for them is a bit weird. but nothing as insane as video game music studies

ymmv but I was not a fan of Semiconductor Physics

that’s why you need to keep them alive longer hell has a whole eternity to catch up to what you do

though i might prefer how yours works actually, because i would have quite liked to continue studying psychology

yeah i dont really have any super weird electives that would be a good option for me to take lol

extremely technically dense with very little practical application outside of designing transistors or diodes or photovoltaics or whatnot, which like

I’d much rather just buy those and use them to do something cool then stress over the fuckin physics of the individual electrons to make them, y’know?

ymmv

fair enough tbh

i think its kinda cool i might change my mind when i have to start fucking around with it though lmfao

this post is extremely engineercoded

as for the last two, I’m a big hybrid fan so I’m curious what that first one is about

that being said I am extremely unwilling to work in the automotive industry (you think you wanna end up there or nah?) and part of that comes from them making really obviously bad decisions like more or less entirely killing hybrids lol

so idk if I’d actually take it given the option, but from the title I am curious to learn more

and optics is a BOLD choice for an elective lmao, that shit prolly has a ton of pre-reqs

I am in fact an engineer and not a particle physicist

go figure

yeahhh im not really considering going that route so that’s prolly not gonna happen

I’m more interested in working in automotive than defense rn though

I’m a cat

(that route as in optics)
