you’ll also be forced to change your mind course-wise when stuff inevitably ends up not being offered or something cool comes along as a special topics or experimental course (by the time you’re taking 400-level or above courses you should be sure to check what’s offered here every single semester)

I should probably think about school and careers and such like at least 500% more than I currently do but I’m doing fine for the time being
fwiw I have ~no attachment to defense
I just have extreme attachment to my actual department
I do however have actively negative desire to work in automotive lel

note that panel design is usually not what is meant by “Physics and Manufacturing of Solar Cells”
I ain’t read the course description but to me it sounds likely to be a lot of semiconductor physics stuff relating to how to dope ur substrates and form ur P-N junctions

I joined the team because it was a fast-placed place filled with high-performing individuals giving 110% to try and be the best in the world
and that matters way more than what the end goal of what you do is imo
