you’ll also be forced to change your mind course-wise when stuff inevitably ends up not being offered or something cool comes along as a special topics or experimental course (by the time you’re taking 400-level or above courses you should be sure to check what’s offered here every single semester)
I should probably think about school and careers and such like at least 500% more than I currently do but I’m doing fine for the time being
fwiw I have ~no attachment to defense
I just have extreme attachment to my actual department
I do however have actively negative desire to work in automotive lel
i can’t wait to sell my soul to the devil and work for some big military contractor and then get in heated arguments in cookie thread
damn solar car is not getting a good rep here
first no panel design
now no cars
next no bitches
did I tell you guys about the chalk war
note that panel design is usually not what is meant by “Physics and Manufacturing of Solar Cells”
I ain’t read the course description but to me it sounds likely to be a lot of semiconductor physics stuff relating to how to dope ur substrates and form ur P-N junctions
yeah i should have reworded it
but yeah tbh solar car doesn’t really align with my interests from a project perspective
but that’s not why I joined the team
the pay is usually good though
sell my soul to lockheed martin for 250k salary
I joined the team because it was a fast-placed place filled with high-performing individuals giving 110% to try and be the best in the world
and that matters way more than what the end goal of what you do is imo
hate it when ppl dope my substrates and form my P-N junctions :/
this is also true of my current job tbh
