you can kind of half-ass this by saving every time you incur a penalty before you reattempt the thing that got you a penalty, until you get to your last health bar, at which point you obviously do it more often
but this isn’t perfect because the Trilogy-era games like to randomly make high-stakes questions be worth half your health

One of the funnest games we played as kids was pitch black hide and seek. You turn off the lights and cover all windows and light sources in a room, and then people get like a minute to hide or whatever and then someone comes in with their eyes closed and closes the door behind them. Like I just remember that being my favorite game even into highschool

hide and seek in day care was always weird because there was virtually no hiding spots besides the dvd place which I could fit in
